Collection

The Collection tab is your personal corner of DOSGamePlayer. It groups the games you've interacted with into four lists.

The four lists​

Favorites​

Games you tapped the ♡ (heart) icon on. Toggle is on the Game Detail page. Use this as your "want to play" or "best ever" shelf.

Played Games​

Anything you've launched at least once. Tracked automatically via playCount.

Downloaded Games​

ROMs already present on the device. These are playable without a network connection — great for travel or airplane mode.

Cleared Games​

Games you marked as cleared (isCleared). Mark a game from its detail page when you finish it. Combine with Cleared tab in Discover for a "trophy shelf".

Add Games shortcut​

A card on this tab opens Add Your Own ROM — the path for importing files you have outside the in-app catalog.

List view vs grid view​

Each of the four lists has its own list/grid toggle, and the choice is remembered per list (so you can have Favorites in grid but Downloaded in list, for example).

How games get into these lists​

  • Favorites — manual: tap the heart on a Game Detail page
  • Played Games — automatic: any game you launch, counted once per launch
  • Downloaded Games — automatic: any game where the ROM file is on the device (downloaded via the app or added manually)
  • Cleared Games — manual: tap Mark as cleared from a Game Detail page
